anyone have a bike I could borrow/rent for 11/24-11/27?

The rental place at the end of the trail wont rent bikes in the off-season.

I have two friends flying into town over Thanksgiving. I have a bike for one of them, but for the other, I'm looking for something that would fit a guy that usually rides a 50-52 cm. Nothing fancy, just enough to get around town. It will be stored indoors, and I'll be sure take good care of it.

You're welcome to borrow my MB-4, I'm pretty sure it's 52cm. the only caveat is you might have to go up to arlington to get it back from the guy I loaned it to.

Thanks Todd, if nobody else has one in the city, I'll try and figure out how to get up there and take a bike back with me.

The 54C goes up there, which is how I always get to his house - I've yet to tackle 18th St. I can probably go get it, I need to get it back before it starts snowing anyways.

Actually, I just remembered I actually have to drive up there tomorrow night - I'll just stop by and pick it up.

I've got a beater that might work out. Also, I think Free Ride does loans.

Dan;

I am going to be out of town, so you could borrow either my blue road bike, which I think you have seen, or a slightly smaller Trek. Road bike is downtown, could be picked up there, if you still need something.

Ha, I should add: the bike I'm offering is currently in Shadyside.

Thanks everyone. I have more than a half dozen offers. You guys are all awesome. It is good to know I could invite my entire family here and have them all rolling around on spare bikes. I'm in contact with a couple people via PM, and to everyone else, thank you so much for your generosity.

.... and then there is always my fixed gear... it's geared at a hill-friendly, 49x15.
