I’m not sure how I feel about this. Part of me says this is a good thing since the purchaser is trying to reunite the bike with its potentially stolen-from owner, but the other half of me says this guy is knowingly buying stolen goods and is trying to get out from under the guilt by posting on CL. I mean what excuse did the seller give for not knowing the combo of the bike they are selling at a ‘very cheaply acquired’ price?
Seems fishy from the start.
