Awesome! But where was that mile dedicated to bikes? Here's a thought: The Greenfield Bridge is closing. I'm not sure about this, but maybe most of the traffic that went up the BoA and down to the bridge will end up elsewhere (Bates?). Maybe this is a good time to get at least an outbound bike lane in place, or even just sharrows. Consider a designated bike route from Oakland, past Phipps, over the bridge and along the feeder up to the BoA and on to the intersection. If bikers take to it, then it's a fait accompli and it's likely to remain in some form once the bridge is reopened. Is there enough time to get this approved?
