Clarification needed, please.

MY bike must be in the photo? Isn't it sort of limiting to be both the photographer and the subject? Or does that mean that a bike has to be in the photo, if I meet the other criteria?

Can you define "Pittsburgh?" Does a rail trail in the metro area count, for example, or must it be a location physically located within the City of Pittsburgh?

Good points, Swalfoot. Neither of the photos seem to follow the rules... they seem to imply the constraints are an AND rather than an OR. Can we get a better statement of the rules, or is this one of those Potter Steward kind-a things? (That would be fine by me... part of the fun.)

BTW, the guy in the first photo has a droopy chain; is that ok?

many people who participated in COAST already have some pics they could choose from to enter this :)

your bike doesn't have to be in it. don't read the instructions so literally (i didn't write them). i think the rules can be clarified as : Bikes + Pittsburgh

i think if you rode somewhere and took a shot with no bike in it, as long as you can explain how it's bike related, then submit it

Sorry. Obviously I'm a geek.

I'll take that as (Pittsburgh V bicycle).

Thanks.

I know where to come when I'm looking for a full-time editor! :)

Sorry for the confusion. The intent is that the photos must be somehow related to bikes and Pittsburgh, but how that combination is achieved is up to your creativity (but please include the explanation as a caption).

Thanks to everyone who's sent in a picture so far--already have a few in the hopper for tomorrow!
