yeah, saturday is even more car free.
were you able to ride? 630 wasn't so bad yet
last night i was playing in the snow on my street just watching people not be able to make it up the little hill onto the birmingham bridge.
I mean, *really* car free Friday! It's cool to be able to take a walk down the middle of the street because there's none of them out there.
I rode home around 6:30 tonight but was thinking taking a little ride might be interesting...

yeah, it wasn't bad at 6:30 - snowing hard but not a whole lot on the roads yet. i didn't venture out after that, except on foot.
i think they should shut down 5th ave and let people sled down negley.
I was out in a car late last night and there was some maniac walking straight down the middle of the street!
was it me? I had to "bike" from garfield to greenfield last night at midnight. terrible. junction hollow was terrible.
Oakland had more people in the streets than cars.
I shudder to think what the trails are going to be like for the next week.
I went cross-country skiing in Oakland. It's not every Friday night you can do that.
I was disappointed that they plowed my street. I was all set to ski to Squirrel Hill. But I walked instead. I was rotfling at some dude in an Explorer who got himself stuck and decided that the way to get out was to floor it. If I were king, I'd make it snow like this all the time.
It'd be sweet to see a 4WD with all four tires spinning, on a city street. That's gotta be one you will almost never see, no matter what the conditions.
