Diamondback Womens Hybrid 4 Sale

Hi, I'm a second year doctoral student at UPitt dealing with reduced funding who is trying to keep my checking account from being overdrawn and thus offering this bicycle that I purchased at the beginning of the summer off of Craigslist for $100.00 (then took it to the bike store and got it a tune up) because my goddaughter from Brooklyn, NY was coming to visit for a week and I wanted her to have a bike to ride. The bike has 21 gears and although I have no idea what the exact size/dimensions of the bike is/are,my goddaughter is twenty-two and about 5' 10 and the bike was perfect for her, and i measured 17 inches from the point where the pedals go through the frame to the point where the seat post enters the frame. Since she went back to Brooklyn the bike has stood quietly in my basement. The bike is clean and ready to ride n go. I live on Penn and Millvale and you could either come by and take a look at the bike or if you're interested and can't make it here I could drive the bike over to you to check it out as long as you're within a reasonable distance. (Combination cable lock available also for an extra $10.) here's the craigslist posting link for photos:

not trying to be a dick here. i mean this in all seriousness. sell the car, keep the bike. pitt is a nice, short, flat ride from garfield/bloomfield (probably faster to ride than to drive wen you factor in parking in oakland) and not only would you get more money for the car, but you will save a ton by not owning it.

Parking in Oakland also sucks. A lot.

While I can appreciate the desire that many people have for cars (and their sweet, sweet heaters during the next few months), I find myself more and more compelled to dump my Nissan when I stop to consider how many bicycles I could have bought in the last year had I not kept dumping money into old four wheels... another $400 today (and I just spent $500 a month ago to pass inspection). *sigh*
