Hmm, gotta try that sometime. Maybe. The closest I've come to doing something like that was riding around on Pinnacle Rock at Letchworth State Park. That's the rock jutting out into the river from the lower right. I may or may not have ridden back down the goat path to river level. But there were 12 other people up on that rock with me that day.
