Feauxst Bike
Out by my parents' home, in the sticks, there is a house with a fully spray-painted white bike in the driveway, as decoration. Makes me do a double-take nearly every time. I'm sure they, nor do 99% of the people who pass it, have any idea as to the meaning of such a thing...

i did say 99% cause i often see cyclists out there, however of the lyrca weekender set, and not the commuter set where awareness of such tenets of urban bike activism is a given...
also, the red flannel ride last month happened out there in those sticks, which included our very own edmonds59.

I saw some idiot brakeless/lightless/helmetless fixie hipster in SF cruising around on a completely white bike.. frame/wheels/spokes/tires, everything was white. Stylish, and functional. When you get hit the EMS responders can just chain your ride up at nearest pole. Job done!
