@bikefind - I don't know if I love you or hate you for the link to Scalzi's blog. Have spent the last half hour reading the comments that were posted. Tears STILL streaming from my eyes. Hilarious! I wonder how much time I can waste reading his other stuff. It seems I have at least 4 years worth of blog to catch up on (cat photo posted Sept. 2006). As the signage would appear to be in an Eastern European language, the sausage bike seems culturally appropriate. My initial thought, though, was Ewwwwww! And is that a bacon seat and rear rack? Or maybe cheese?

I'm gonna guess it's straight up fatback, since there doesn't appear to me any meat, and it does appear to be tied, which isn't something you can normally do with cheese. Equally likely is just plain cheesecloth, though it doesn't fit in with the meat motif.
