Lucia, your spelling is atrocious!
FOUND on Penn Avenue: Abandoned front wheel & tire with disk break
On my way to work this morning I found on Penn Avenue an abandoned front wheel & tire with disk break. There was no bike-around in sight, so since I was still close to my place, I took it home for safe keeping.
Anybody missing one? Or knows someone who is missing one? Can you tell me the tire-brand-type?
Seriously -Kind of an odd-find, but if it belongs to someone, let me know
hyphen-love!
Frankly, I wouldn't have even noticed if grammar-nazi Scott didn't say anything!
I hope it finds its owner!
Of course it's atrocious!!!! -but how? Enlighten me! ......
(no seriously, that's the only way I learn).
Grammar is not the forte of bikeygirl since english is her second-language, specially when I'm writing on-a-rush.
Is it "disc-break" ?
"k" is kooler than "c"
Haha -thanks for the shout-out headloss!
I think you should give Scott a Spanish spelling test
brake
I hope the owner can be reunited with the wheel. So nice of you to keep it safe.
@scott Lucia, your spelling is atrocious!
No worse than mine.
I think it belongs to this guy, but he doesn't seem to need it,
Ahhh....... disk brake.... Muchas Gracias
But no, seriously, someone come claim it! Or I'll take it to freeride or something
close.. it's "disc" and I would love a Spanish lesson. Learning Spanish is on my bucket list.
Ooh, ooh - Spanish language ride for Bikefest!
It would be useful to know the difference between someone saying "would you like some water?" and "there is an enormous man-eating dog around the corner".
Hrm..... @edmonds: that's a thought.
I've actually had an idea for a ride/ alleycat that revolves around certain Mexican-related board game....
Hrm... will ponder this further....
(I mean)
Voy a pensar esto mas a fondo....
Maybe post a message on Craigslist? What size is it?
If no one claims it, i would happily take it off your hands for my future cargo bike.
