FS? Schwinn Twinn

I've recently acquired (through inheritance) a mid-60's era Schwinn Twinn tandem bicycle. It's a really cool rig, and it's in great shape (even the original tires keep inflation), but I'm a lone rider, and it's a bit too much bike for me. This bike should be in the hands of a collector--not sitting in my storage room. I'd love it if one of the experts here could have a look and tell me more about it, or give an estimate on it's value. (Of course, if that estimate comes with an offer, we can discuss that as well.) ;-) Everything appears to be original, except for the speedometer--which appears to be of the same era. It's a Sears speedometer/odometer, that looks like it was designed for use with this bike, and I suspect it was purchased with the bike when my aunt bought it (at Sears?) in the mid-to-late 60's. I have several other pictures that I'd be happy to share on or off-line, if you're interested. What do you think?

Craig at Bicycle Heaven seems to know just about everything Schwinn related. You might want to take it by there, or just stop with pics, I'm sure he would talk to you.

Thank you Marko82,,,the bike looks to be 70s maybe a 60s tandem ,whats the ss number ? anyways the value is 135.00 to 700.00..i know a wide range but condition is everything and a two speed is better than a one speed coaster brake model .I think with the photos you have 245.00 is a good price for a buyer or the seller ,if the bike is a kick back two speed ad 75.00,,,if a 5 speed ad 160.00,,,we are having a bike swap meet this sat and sunday,,14 th and 15 th,,,day brake till last man standing ,,,,a good place to sell your tandem,,,412 716 4956 info,,thanks

@Marko82 - Thanks for the tip. @Craig (bicycle heaven) - Thanks for your comments here, and for the nice chat on the phone. I didn't notice on first inspection, but after talking with you, I looked again and confirmed that the bike is a kick back 2-speed (Bendix). At your suggestion, I think I'll be heading down to the swap this weekend with this, and a couple other old cruisers I have collecting dust. If anybody's interested in pics, info, or talking deals in the mean time, let me know!
