I'm selling a really unique, high quality city bike that was 100% assembled in the Netherlands. It is a classic evolution of the old Raleigh 3-speed. These bikes are still the standard for getting around in almost every European country and variations abound in India and Asia as well. This example is a fairly contemporary upgrade on the old "all steel" bicycle. The frame is nicely lugged steel, with a deep purple finish and riveted headbadge. Tall stem and alloy North Road style handlebars keeps the positioning upright, and gives you a superior view of traffic conditions. There is an integral rack and built-in lighting system that runs on a hub generator. The wheels are worth the price alone - They are matching alloy 700c rims, with heavy duty spokes and alloy hub drum brakes, 5-speed internal gears. Nice plastic fenders, original tires with plenty of tread, and a classic Avocet touring 1 saddle. Kickstand, full chainguard, and skirt guard for rear triangle also included (but not pictured).
