caitlin - can you give a description of the art show at your office. I'm interested and I have yet to find decent descriptions of all of the events. The schedule seems scattered, unless I'm missing something - is there a unified place to see everything that's included in the festival?

Do me a favor and write a quick note to Chrstine Bethea: passports.art@gmail.com, she's the festival promoter, I've explained that info about the festival is a bit jumbled and confusing, I think if she heard it from someone unrelated to the event it would have more impact.

I've requested more info and noted the disjointed web stuff - I'll fill you in if I get a response.

Basically GAGI is Unblurred--its the first friday art crawl with a 'geek arts, green innovation' focus. There will be a ton of extra stuff, but basically there will be a whole lot going on on Penn Ave between Negley and Main that evening.

You can see more about unblurred here, and hopefully that and the GAGI blog will have more concise, together information: Unlburred on Penn

also regarding the bike stuff, she just wanted to see a bike parade happen, and was trying to organize that with Bike Pgh, but I told her to find a bike enthusiast in the area to organize it (other than me since we have our own event happening in conjunction with it already)

So they will have all sorts of fun decor for bikes and water soluable washable paints you can decorate your bike and selves with.

Thanks caitlin. The unblurred link brought at least a little more focus to the event.

Chrstine Bethea told me that the gagifestival.blogspot.com website has display problems with some browsers. (I'm a Mac user, the most current versions of Safari and Firefox.) She also said they are working on a fix and that she can supply an event schedule. I'll keep you posted.
