Handicapped assist bike

I stumbled across this while looking for something else and thought it was really cool.

I've not seen anything exactly like this before. It might be very cool if maybe Triangle rental would have one, and let people know about it. Heck, people could even sign up to take disabled or old folks out on weekends, or flock rides. I haven't looked at the cost, but they're right out in Oakdale.

Kind of a spiffed up one-passenger pedicab. Great idea.

Nice. I really like the way that the wheelchair can be detached and used independently.


The Hase Pino and Bilenky Viewpoint are also good options for such purposes, if you have a "stoker" who wishes to pedal sometimes.

looks nice, but it must be a heck of a workout for whoever is doing the pedaling. Maybe they should incorporate a hand bike on the front.
