I have. What did you want to know?

Thanks Chris. I want to ride the trace this March or April, and the question I'm stumped on is the logistics of getting to the start and then getting home from the stop.

My thought so far is to drive my own vehicle to Nashville and park it. Rent a car, put my bike in the trunk, and drive to Jackson where I can turn the rental in at the airport. (No such luck in Natchez)

Ride my bike from Jackson south to Natchez, then turn around with the length of the trace in front of me and ride north to Nashville and my waiting vehicle.

The direction isn't important to me, I ended up thinking south-to-north for the logistics of the vehicles.

Otherwise, I'm planning on mostly camping, probably six 75 mile days one I get to Natchez.

I'd appreciate any advice you'd care to offer. Thanks very much.

I have never ridden it, but if you plan on spending any time in Nashville itself and need any tips about the area, let me know. I lived there for several years before moving here in August and lived in Tennessee for most of my life. It's not the most bike-friendly place in the universe, but it's slowly getting better, and it's a great city otherwise (and not for the stereotypical country-music-tourism reasons that people often assume).

That is not a question I can answer. I went out and back on it. Sorry!

Thank you Chris and PearMask, I appreciate both your responses. I can see the attraction of the round trip. Thanks again, V.
