Hi bikepgh people,

My name is Will, and I started riding in Pittsburgh about 3 months ago. Reason? I moved to Morningside, and in order to see friends or be mobile at all, it's just way easier (and more fun) to ride a bike than to drive or wait for a bus...but I'm sure you all know that already.

One of my favorite routes is to climb Greenwood ave up into Stanton Heights, and then fly downhill on Stanton ave through Lawrenceville and the strip, take the 10th street bridge through southside, head through Oakland/Schenley/Squirrel Hill, and then back up to the Highland Park area. It makes for a lovely weekend afternoon.

nice to meet you all

Sounds like a nice route, esp. the flying-down-Stanton part (I love doing that).

Although....kudos to you for climbing Greenwood--that sucker is steep.
