hey youuuu guys!!!! flock in the indoor mtb park

some of us are going to Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park on sunday. if you haven't been there, its 130,000 sq/ft of pure AMAZING and a ton of fun for every single skill level of biker. if you have been there i don't need to explain how awesome it is. if i'm not camping in wooster the night before, stef and i will be leaving town around 8 or 9am and can take a couple people and one or two bikes. if you don't have a mountain bike or bmx bike or similar, they have rentals for i think $10 or $15 bucks for the day.

nick your new bmx is begging you to go.

melt is such a guilty pleasure. i remember going there when it was relatively new, my bandmate was old friends with the owner so we'd hang there after practice. very fond memories

but don't be hatin' on c-town n'at

^I thought c-town was Cincinnati. Now I’m all confused…

it could refer to any of the 3 major cities but generally clevo is c-town, columbus is cowtown or c-bus, cincy is the queen city

Hmmm, Riding a chopper on the skinnies, or a tall bike on the pump track.

Don't forget to try and ride the backwards steering bike around the picnic area if you see it.

*scratches head*

Cleveland *IS* out of town, isn't it?

Well?

When I see a "Flock" event here, I get excited. I love bike events in the neighborhood that I can ride to and in. I am puzzled and disappointed when it's another kind of event. Nice events, for sure, but nothing I consider a "flock".

Maybe it's just me.

its an extension of flock in the woods. something that i have been telling all the new mtbers about for a few months. and well worth the trip. if you like mtb or bmx, not much can compare to ray's in the winter.

Kayla and I are coming with BMX bikes (though, I may rent a MTB there). Either way, I am prepared to be aching and sore on Monday.

just don't fall off of a 6 foot high feature in the expert section and have your bike then fall on you. then you'll be ok. i suggest renting knee/shin and elbow pads.
