PTAG has started building some single track in Highland Park. There is a party next weekend.

HIGHLAND PARK TRAIL
Hey everyone, a little help if possible. I thought I got a flyer at pedal pittsburgh that had something to do with a trail in highland park this saturday (Aug 18th)not sure and I cant find the flyer. did I imagine it? anyone else know anything about this?

Someone should get the word about this using something other than Facebook. Had it not been for this thread, I wouldn't even know about it, and I'm on the trail crew mailing list (though, sadly, I've yet to show up for trail work). I don't even see it on the PTAG calendar on their site.

Also, for the record, the trail is short-ish, but good fun. You can pick it up at the intersection of One Wild Place and Butler Street. It runs along the hill bordering the HP Bridge interchange and Washington Blvd, with a connector to the Oval. Not quite a destination, since it's relatively short, but it's pretty sweet if you leave in the neighborhood (and it's a great length for running).

FYI I'm updating the flyer as they have added a hike at 11:30 in addition to the ride at 11. I'm not sure what's up with the promotion as I just made the poster when the original designer fell through.
