Guess there wasn't any real crime last night huh.

oh sorry, the car was unmarked and he buzzed me pretty close the block before. Not knowing it was a cop I said something along the lines of "nice job playa" because the window was cracked.

At the next light (red) I stopped, briefly glanced at the driver (tinted windows, could only see his eyes) winked at him and blew the light.

He pulled me over and gave me a stern lecture about sharing the road. I very gravely stated that he was absolutely correct and that had I didn't mean to disrespect his authority. He yelled some more and told me to go home.

All in all the only thing that saved me was how cold it was because he wasn't wearing a hat or jacket and was visibly shivering.

Drunk riding aside my only mistake was not noticing that it was a plainclothes cop. I really think he just had nothing better to do and there was nobody else out.

careful out there. I was almost t-boned by a subaru through the park. I stopped in time, but as he ran the red and swerved passed me I could see him juggling his blackberry.

i got pulled over once for jumping the light at Craig and 5th. It was about midnight and there was no one on the road save for a cop at the light and a post-gazette truck going through the green. I waited for the truck to go and then went. the cop immediately flashed me and my friends (i was with two others) and pulled me over. Then ANOTHER cop pulled up and got out. The first cop went on to explain that it was two in the morning and there are drunks out and that I almost got hit by that post-gazette truck. I think he was fishing for a thank you, but I made an exaggerated "checking my watch" amd told him it was midnight and that there was no one on the road. I began to get worked up when he repeated that I almost got hit, but one of the girls I was with grabbed my hand and I shut up. It was funny that during this whole exchange neither cop pointed out that what I did was illegal, just that they were doing me a favor.
