DPW will do the actual install, but I believe generally it's Planning (and specifically the Bike & Pedestrian Coordinator) that makes the decision...

Let the DPW know if you want bike lanes?
At 6 on WTAE, they spoke about proposed places for bike lanes that would take away *GASP* 100 parking spots in Oakland and limit handicapped access to businesses. That was read with a shitty tone by Wendy Bell in order to piss off people. Anyway, I could have sworn that at the end of the story, she said that you can let the Dept of Public Works know if you want the bike lanes. Is this accurate?
