Complete shot in the dark I know but just in case... I managed to lose my wallet riding from Gooski's to Howler's, Brereton->28th->Liberty. I retraced my route looking for it and plan to try again when it's light out but if you happen to find it please let me know. It was in my bag which I failed to zip up completely so it must have slid out the back - so uphill on Liberty is my best guess, but who knows.
I'm not sure if I'd feel more or less dumb about it if I were actually intoxicated ;(
hey man, DON'T CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARDS! i wondered if you'd post - i'm the bicyclist you stopped as i was slogging my way up liberty. well guess what, not long after that i found your wallet safe & sound, in the street between dels and BBT. i rode to what i assumed was your house in sq. hill, but left only a note cause i wasn't sure if it was truly your place or not. anyway PM me so i can get this back to you!

it was pure luck - i almost never go up liberty but turn to howley on my way toward highland park. i just decided to take liberty tonight and voila, wallet.

Thanks so much for taking the time to ride over here and leave a note - I was likely still out riding around looking for it. I pretty quickly realized it was kind of silly not to give you my phone number and I definitely appreciate you making the extra effort especially considering the hill I live on 
No problem, I figured you were still out looking. I could have waited and tried tomorrow, but it seemed urgent 'cause I didn't want you to go and cancel all of your cards just to get them back right afterwards - I've done that myself. Anyway we'll get this back to you tomorrow!

Nah. I'm just still kind of amazed at the fact that I actually found the thing, especially since it was off my normal route. Lucky I was headed to Oakland instead of home. Hey, I got a good midnight bike ride out of it at least (bloomfield-strip-bloomfield-oakland-squirrel hill-highland park). It was a beautiful night for it.
