Lovely Lunch Conversation
Location: Eating lunch in Mellon Square.
me: I mention how nice it is when the sun pops out to the 65ish year old beside me.
old guy next to me: yeah, when I was a kid, on a day like today we'd be romping naked through the woods
me: yeah, well you can still do that if you want, although I'm not sure how accepted it would be at your age.
old guy: (raised eyebrow) yeah, but I don't think it was very accepted when we were kids, either.
::sun retreats::
::2 minute pause::
::sun reappears::
old guy: yea... there's nothing else in this world like making love in the sunshine
me: I'll have to try that sometime...
a hawk flew by with a pigeon in its claws
I got up and left, bidding him a good day. his attempt at a response was thwarted by a choke on his sandwich.

Similar conversation. . . . it was a nice day, I had the bike of the rack, i was going to go riding, was filling my tank at the gas station and humming a tune. The old guy that had just finished filling his tank said: "Did you just get laid or win the lottery?"
