Mt. Washington Grandview Park Trails

The Mt Washington Community Development Corp just finished marking “most” of the trails in Grandview Park yesterday. There is a real nice trail the goes from GVP at Bailey Av all the way down to Arlington Av. You can then cross the street and take a path to 10th St. Below is a link to the MWCDC web site, they have a PDF map of all the trials on Mt. Washington.

I've been looking for a better way to get home from work, thanks. (I work just off Boggs Ave). I'm not 100% sure where the path to 10th is, though. Are these road-bike friendly paths perchance?

wow- thanks for posting these. I used to live in Mt Washington, but it was before I was doing much trail riding. I think I may have walked a few of those, but had forgotten all about them.

If it rains I would not take the trail. The path down to 10th is private property but everyone uses it. If you’re not into trespassing just keep gong down Arlington Av and then make a right on to Mcardle, it will take you behind South Stadium to 10th St.

The trail project is kind of interesting. The MWCDC had several people knit different color bands/scarves and then they wrapped them around trees as path markers. They made sure no tree was harmed while marking the trails…
