Oakland Planning Meetings
This week, the Oakland Planning and Development Corp. will be concluding a series of community meetings to identify "needs and desires" for Oakland as part of the Oakland 2025 Plan.
This is a GREAT opportunity to have an impact on what the future of Oakland will look like.
The planing workshops for North Oakland and Central Oakland were held last week.
The planning workshop for South Oakland is scheduled for November 8th (5:30-8:30 p.m.), dinner included) at St. George Cathedral
3400 Dawson Street. The workshop for West Oakland is scheduled for November 10th (same hours, dinner included) at Friendship Community Church, 181 Robinson Street.
A community wide meeting will be held next week:
