I may try to drive out to Wagman Observatory in the Tarentum area. I'm already north of A.O., but have a bunch of lights to my immediate north.
You need a dark, clear sky. Cloud cover is expected to be not ideal, but we might have a shot at it. Looking outside right now, I see patches of blue with quite a few clouds (60% cover); should be down to 30% cover by 2 a.m.
I've only seen them twice in Pittsburgh in 31 years.
