they're relatively new to to the road bike market, so i'm wondering if anyone has experience with them, seem like the groupset/wheelset that you get is better quality for the price than most intro roadies.

Complete for 500? snatch it up, that is a good deal.
Most bikes in the same price range are the same as the others. Most are made in the same factories by the same people. Kona at least uses dedacci, which is better than "proprietary alloy" or whatever that tons of other companies use.
I agree with steevo. For $500, that bike is a steal, given that's 105 and not mix of Tiagra and Sora.

it is used, i havent bought it yet, got some more info, which differs slightly from the manufacturers website
