OT: Armed robberies in Regent Square Area
Not targeted to cyclists specifically, but a number of pedestrians. I know several people here live in the area, please be alert. Zone 4 alert here.

This is the email the RSCA sent us this morning.
As you may have heard, two more incidents have taken place, a robbery of a store near the Forbes/Braddock intersection last Friday and one attempted robbery last night at Hutchinson and LaClair, by what appears to be the same two perpetrators as in the earlier incidents (two young African American males, one taller than the other, slight build, who get away in a white or silver medium-size sedan).

Well, these guys are armed, and they did knock one of the victims in the back of the head with the pistol. I hope they get caught soon.
I've been robbed at gunpoint before (not here) and it definitely sucks.

I have to admit being a little suspicious when a silver SUV with their window down pulled up next to me at Race and Pennwood last night and didn't pull all the way up to their own stop strip.
