Passing others on a bike

Even in the best of times - give people, pedestrians and other bikers, plenty of space (at least 6 ft. please) when passing.  Now especially so.  We ask cars to give us at least six feet - that’s the least we can do for our fellow cyclists and especially pedestrians.  Now is not the time for speed - now is the time to yield. thanks

As far as I know PA code asks for 4 feet and not 6.

On most bike paths, I think that even 4 feet between the inner edges of two bicyclists is impracticable, without one of them going off the trail. I personally get peeved at people passing by closely without so much as a "coming by" warning, but that doesn't have much to do with covid.

I get peeved too at anyone passing me on trails without any warning at all.  I am not passed very often, so the riders who are passing me are the serious ones with clipped in shoes, the best bikes, and dressed in biking colors.  I'd like to think that these people would be courteous riders.  But, I find that most of them are not the slightest bit courteous or even friendly when I greet them as we are traveling in opposite directions. This is not an absolute.  There are some decent people in that group, too.  I've seen a few.
