I just got back from there. It is ridiculous how the mud has just been sitting there for at least 2 months. Can't wait for the connection to the Smithfield Street Bridge though, I'll definately be going that way during my commute, even though it takes a couple more minutes than the direct route into the city.
PG: Muddy Mon Whorf Trail Neglected
Pretty good article.

Wharf. It's the Mon (short for Monongahela) Wharf.
(Sorry. Former English Major...)
What was the name of the dude from star trek?
ALMKLM, sorry to deviate, it's my personal campaign to get that bit of cement dedicated to linguist Benjamin Whorf (who the Star Trek character is named after). Hence, Mon Whorf. Just a quirk.
The Star Trek character is Worf, the linguist is Whorf, the pier is a wharf, and the Akron radio station is WARF. Sea, easy as pi.
HEY, MON! (google image search returned no images for a jamaican worf. sorry.)
OT, and of questionable taste:
Q: What's another name for a Jamaican proctologist?
A: A Pokemon.
@ALMKLM Former English Major
Wassup? We talk 'Merican here, dude.
Dude, that linguist is awesome. thank you for sharing.
There's a joke about a dog somewhere in here, I just can't figure it out.
@Mick - I dunno... so many engineers here it's hard to tell sometimes!
Former English Major
None of that Former English for me, thanks. Þorns cause flats.
I generally feel that revealing one's self as a former english major on an internet forum is not the wisest decision.
Former English major? Hey, I'm proud of my B.A. in English. I've never felt it to be a ? around my neck.
@dmtroyer - sigh... neither was becoming one in the first place...
sorry, that was mostly in reference to the fact that grammar police lurk these parts, not that a degree in english is inherently undesirable or some such thing.
@dmtroyer - I would never do that. But you know, you really should have capitalized the "S" to start your sentence... (Insert snarky emoticon here.)
