Hit-And-Run Driver Strikes 2 Doctors Who Were Riding Bikes

PITTSBURGH -- Police are asking the public for help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who struck two Children’s Hospital doctors while they were riding their bikes.
Police said Dr. Jonathan Finder and Dr. Robert Noll were hit on May 30 by a gold-colored vehicle at the intersection of Washington and Allegheny River boulevards.
Both men were transported to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
I thought I remembered an ask for help at the end of the initial articles, though I could be wrong.
How someone could see this and not stop to provide all details is twice as mind boggling as how someone could DO this and not stop, which boggles the mind more than how someone could simply do this at all.
I have noticed that they're identifying it as a "gold colored vehicle" rather than a sedan or SUV. Very sad that we lost even that detail to help.
Broadening the description might lead to more reports. Maybe there's a witness who thought he saw a gold minivan or panel truck, and therefore didn't come forward before.
