I can see how there would be disadvantages to a crank forward bike.

"Pot Shots" is a one-panel comic strip that appears in several newspapers. It is a 17-word-or-less quip accompanied by a sketch. Each day, the creator posts one on his website.
Today (Dec. 7, 2009) it has a bicycle theme. This will not be available online after 12/7, so you'd better look fast.

Oh bother, he updated it already. It said "Regardless of what you've lost, what matters is what you do with what you have left." The sketch showed a man on a bicycle pulling a wheelie, and the bike is missing its front wheel.
