Pretty good for a Friday

I ran across this, Bike Chase, no idea what the story is behind it, but it's shot in Detroit, I have to feel for Detroit. And it's pretty cool.

That actually made me want a folding bike... But, alas... I decided to grow up this year and save on ER bills. ;)

Cool, I'm guessing those were Bromptons, with the suspension. I discovered my Raleigh 20" folder is an excellent wheelie bike, I've been trying get wheelying, making some progress. Got about 3 pedal revs at the balance point. Riding a wheelie is on my bucket list. I'm trying to grow down.

20" bike = best for tricks. Hands down.

For wheelies & manuals throw the butt over the rear axle and feather the rear brake to compensate if you over do it. Most people's issue with that trick is trying to "pull up into" it. Practice throwing your butt back and just feel how your body will naturally rock the bike up. Doing them on a road frame (especially my fixie) has proven to be much more difficult and requires a strong initial kick of the pedal, but that's in combination with the, um, butt thrust I mentioned a moment ago. Should be one fluid motion. :)

I already roll with a crew called Team Dropped and It looks like this is our new theme song. We'll be playing it as we ride thru your hood.

BreeZee One = awesome. I will still pass on Spandex for myself, though.

@mm -- I think you're fine so long as you stay away from the retro jazzercise unitard catalogs.
