Race to Anyplace 2012

From the Race to Anyplace websiteSaturday, February 25, 2012

U.S. Steel Tower • 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

The 12th Annual Race to Any Place, Presented by TRIB Total Media, GNC and UPMC Health Plan, is the largest stationary bike race in Western Pennsylvania, and an important team fund-raising event benefiting the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Team Competition

The Race to Any Place is a six-hour relay race, comprised of twenty-four 15 minute heats.

Teams race on either an Airdyne or Spinning cycle.

Team registration includes 12 riders for $500 (more riders can be added at an additional cost of $40 per rider).

Each rider must complete a minimum of a 15-minute heat, and teams may only change riders as new heats are announced.

Compete against over 80 other teams for the most mileage and pledges.

Last year, some of the Flock regulars expressed interest in forming a team, but we missed the registration deadline. If there is enough interest, Flock can register the team and front the $500 registration. With 12 riders, the registration would be about $42/rider.

So, anyone interested?
