I remember seeing someone post that they were going to ride over to the bbq stand on Frankstown that the FoC passed, did that happen? And if so how was it?
yeah it was this past tuesday. it was a good time. people said the food was good. we had to go to a place on braddock and hamilton instead cause the other stand on frankstown was closed. they were "on christmas vacation" according to their answering machine.
The banner out front said they were only open Thursday-Sunday. We saw them open on the last FoC, so unless they celebrate half Christmas or something, they're probably back now?

Was this the one that was a tent thing in a lot outside or was it an actual storefront?
The one on Frankstown Avenue is a takeout joint. I think they have an actual building, and I remember seeing a picnic table out front. That is the one we rode past on FoC with the tents nearby (not sure if this was the same place, or just other people with tents?). This was our first try, but they aren't open on Tuesday 
The one we ended up going to had indoor seating. I really would like to try the other one though. The next Flock to BBQ
The one we ended up at had great ribs though.
