River Avenue - Sunday night alert
Drove River Avenue to Washington's Landing this afternoon, then walked it into town and back. It was dry the entire distance. Driving home an hour or so ago, I had to turn around near the Veterans Bridge area because water was collecting again in the southbound lane. I couldn't tell how deep it was, so took the safe way out and went around it via Warfield and Progress. Maybe a broken water main? River side of roadway was wet, but not as clearly "under water." Continue to be careful out there.
