I'll reveal my ignorance (again) here, and ask: indoor racing? In a bar? Sounds like genius, but how does it work?
A-Ha! Wow. Cool!
I am afraid i will be too embarrassed to do this. This tine of year, i am so slow.
Ahh. I'm going to be out of town for this...In sunny San Diego, where I will hopefully be riding in shorts outdoors.
Jealous
I will hopefully be riding in shorts outdoors.
In today's balmy 40 degree weather, I took off my balaclava and almost wanted to put on shorts.
I'll be there. I'll probably be embarrassing slow compared to my last goldsprints.
If there is a god he or she will see to it that I don't have to work that day and I will be there.
Looks like Mad Mex will be representing with some Mad Loot for racers, we might need some ideas on other races/ contests to hold for prizes.
The Traditional Brackets are on with Qualifying till 10, then a single elimination 12/men 8/women (if we get equal turn out brackets will be the same) NFL style bracket.
Do they play punk music the entire time like in the video? Looks like there isn't any resistance?
Any resistance is negligible. The rear wheel is on a free spinning roller and the fork is attached to a stand.
This is a very fun event to just spectate at, even if you don't feel up to riding. There's definitely some cheap microbrews that will help raise money for the ICB team! and probably some raffles and door prizes. So go!
PS- the punk music is a definite possibility.
i'd go just to watch and hang out, but i will be out of town. this is coming to rochester that night:
Good for you Colin, at least we can read the logos on our flyer. Just kidding.
I know. It's like its the 90s all over again. I'm gonna have to see if i can find any of my old xl longsleeves. I think I know where my cannibal corpse one is...
Gotta love the 90s! My old band once played in a show called the Firewalking and Decapitation Seminar.
Speaking of posters we finally got the new one together, keep an eye out for it at your local bike shop.
