sticker slogans

hey yall, it looks like we're going to need to get some more stickers printed soon, and i'd like to keep some of the designs, slogans fresh. soooooo....i'm looking for some good ideas for some new sticker slogans. i want to keep some of the more popular ones (like "pierogie powered"), but maybe switch up some. for instance, there are no shortages of "one less car" stickers....but maybe in polish?

here is last year's batch:

some new ideas that are floating around:

-my bike takes me everywhere

-my other car is a bike (car bumper sticker)

This bicycle climbed Mt Washington (in Pittsburgh)

steevo

"this machine kills fascists"

"free from tyranny (gasoline)"

...or are those too preachy?

I was trying to find an appropriate WWII home front slogan too, but I couldn't find one.

erok

I'm sure the holier-than-thou stuff plays to the choir, but I think positive messages work better for advocacy. So maybe you could make room for something like "Of Course You Can" with a bike logo.

I like the "Of Course You Can" idea too.

Here are a couple more I thought of on the bike home:

"Spandex Optional"

"...but everyone calls me 'Lance'"

"Caution: dodging potholes"

- you have a few gas ones, but if you wanted to switch it up: "PEAK time for CYCLING (or riding a bike, or commuting by bike, or whatever)" with a little picture of a bike running over an oil rig.

- "this is why i'm HOT" with a little picture of a sexy lower leg pedaling a bike, or just a bike, or a bike with a heart over it. heehee.

- don't get rid of the "i love hills" one! i love the image on that one, and looks really cool on the head tube.

- i really like the idea for more PGH food-related stickers.

"You Can TOO Ride!"

Gotta spell it "sammitch" on the Primanti's one.

"Ride then Ride" (first "ride" superimposed on a bus, second over a bike)

a long time ago there was a cool advertising campaign in nyc (that resulted in a postcard being sent to me) by some bike group their, one of their slogans was "helmet hair is beautiful" it always kind of stuck with me and i haven't seen it since... maybe that!

imakwik1
2009-07-07 12:11:09

i'd also like to see a pro helmet sticker, i think just as many cyclists will be reading these as cars... something like 'my helmet saved my life' or 'my helmet loves me' or something clever that someone else will have to think of.

i saw a cyclist in vancouver with a messenger bag that just said 'i think i can, i think i can, i think i can' all down the back of his bag... i thought that was awesome, maybe that or a sticker that says "the little engine that could' maybe that's too obscure though? seems like most people know that book.
