Stolen Bike - Morningside
Hey guys
This is an unmarked, blue road frame--fixed gear--with bright yellow handlebar tape on track bars. Brake on the left hand side. Seen here:
Stolen between 11:30 and 12:30 outside of Morning Glory Coffehouse on Chislett Street.
Hooligans? No idea, but I'm heated about this.
i've got this post/the board post forwarded to my friend who lives in the area. good luck. this is so terrible.
i wonder what the chances are that if you find the person you find all the bikes
Usual question: was the bike locked? To what? With what?
MoGlo could really use a few of those fancy bike racks in front...
FOUND! in an alleyway, dumped.
Congrats! Guess they didnt like riding fixed.
Nice!!! was it messed up at all?
That's great! Hope it's in good shape.
sending in my insurance claim today. i feel like i am giving up on a friend...
Can you tell me where you found your bike? My son's bike was stolen off our porch on Antietam St. two nights ago, and I assume it was probably stolen by the same person who took your bike.
Bruie, what did your bike look like? There are quite a few Morningsiders on the board, we'll keep an eye out.
I'm pretty sure the bike was found towards the bottom of Baker street, near the gas station.
Eric, Sorry I didn't include the information. Bike is red in color and the brand is Redline. The bike is for a 7 year old. I managed to misplace the manual and receipt, so I don't have the exact model. I am making a major search for both items today. (The bike shop where we purchased it is also looking for the information as time permits.)
Thanks for offering to keep an eye out for the bike. By the way, when I get a good photo of the bike do I need to start a new thread if I want to post the photo here?
Thanks again.
