STOLEN: Jamis Coda bicycle
Last night (10/20/10) I locked my bike on a black gate on Melwood Ave next to the Wellington apartment building at 9:30, and at 8:30 this morning I walked out and it was gone. I was so sure I locked it to both the frame and the tire, but it was dark. I should have triple checked.
The bike is a red Jamis Coda (see picture) and there is a large gash on the top tube where the paint was scraped off after a fall on the curb.
It has a rack attached to the back, and a red LED light secured to the rack. I'd like to think that Pittsburgh has a tight-knit bike community and that we're all looking out for one another. If you see anyone riding this bike around Pittsburgh, PLEASE do something. I'm also willing to pay $200 for the bike's recovery, so there's that incentive as well.
