Super insane "safe driving" PSA's from afar...

Egads. this stuff is brutal, and brutally real.

Aye..

Didn't want to think about any of that on my commute. I know there's a risk with drivers not paying attention/drunk/or full of rage. We all really don't have a choice other than to trust the people we share the road with, as they trust us to let them know what we plan on doing. Scary stuff.

yeah, these really affected me. but i barely drive a car, so i wonder how effective they would be on someone who does more frequently.

They seem to have this odd subtext: if you are making out you are at serious risk.

I think they learned that from cheap horror flicks.

i feel like there should probably be a probationary period before getting your license when you have to log some time on a bicycle...

people would probably still choose community service or jail

maybe before you get your license at all, like when you have your permit, you need to record a total of 100 biking miles.

might solve some obesity issues also

At one point in my trip towards DC (didn't qutie make it), I meandered the backroads of Maryland. Their highwasy are very nice for biking - 5 ft clean paved shoulders separated from the main road by rumbles trips.

[YO! Get to the point, a%%h*#3!]

Anyhow, about half of the bikers I ran into were people with DUI license loss. I thought that was way cool.

They, themselves, were less thrilled about it.
