Trees of Pittsburgh Ride--Thursday 6pm
Hi all!
Several Pool Riders asked if I was leading the Tree Ride on Thursday, but instead my tree and bike knowledgeable colleague Jake is.
Description:
Take a spin with Tree Pittsburgh and TreeVitalize as we celebrate Bikefest with the Trees of Pittsburgh Ride, 2011!
We'll highlight some of the 10,000+ new TreeVitalize trees planted throughout the city, as well as tour some of Pittsburgh's notable old giants and unique specimens.
The ride is approximately 10 miles long and will involve riding on some uneven terrain as well as riding in traffic. Helmets are advised, as are lights.

check the ride and route, as I am not the organizer. nothing is kid-inappropriate, but there do seem to be some downhills, which means youd have to get up them on the way back!
