Does full racing kit count as a costume?

@ john i knew this was going to come up! gonna have to veto that unless you are a zombie bike racer...

Add a sign saying "Clean Pro Racer", and everyone'll know it's not real...

I think it should depend on the person. If *I* dressed up in steroid-boy-wannabe getup, it would be a disguise.

@Mick You ride the crosscheck, right? With the wide bars and mirrors and everything? I'm not sure how well that'll blend with a full kit.

Does anyone have an astana kit and syringe I can borrow? I'm going to dress up as Contador.

For bonus points, someone needs to dress up as a tainted cow and follow you around.

@STEVE K -- THE FUCKING TASSLES!

This is great that someone is carrying on the Halloween alleycat tradition.

But can you top Erok and Brad? It'll be tough! :)

I need some help to complete my costume idea. I want to dress in full Radio Shack kit like Lance Armstrong. I can get that at the Trek shop. What I'm having trouble with is finding a red-headed liar to dress as Floyd Landis and a grumpy, bitter, doughy middle-aged guy to dress as Greg LeMond. Oh, and I'll need my Landis and LeMond to follow me (Lance) around griping and grumbling.

@ALMKLM: I can do grumpy, doughy, and red-haired, if that helps.

@joeframbach With the wide bars and mirrors and everything?

Pretty accurate. (no mirrors)

Probably the most telling detail is that even though I live and ride in Oakland, Pittsburgh's mecca of sophomoric sarcasm, I have never once been called "Lance."

ALMKLM ...grumpy, bitter, doughy middle-aged guy...

You rang?
