I saw a U-lock on the northeast passage (behind the Florence Reizenstein school) this morning. It was on the trail between where you enter from Social Way and where the trail becomes a brick road. I moved it off the trail so no one would run over it. It is between one of the metal bollards and that low brick building by Social Way where are sometimes cars parked. It appeared to be locked, so useless w/o the key.
Any chance this was a black and yellow OnGuard Pitbull? I got to work and realized that mine vanished somewhere between there and here, backtracked but couldn't find it, and then got a flat on the way back to work.
If so, awesome - could you give me some more specifics as to where it is, since it's probably going to be covered in snow by the time I'm able to head out of work...
It had yellow detail on the cylindrical bar part of the lock. The white logo was too faded to read. I was going through the area around 8:15-8:30 this morning.
If you're standing at the corner of Social Way and Festival St., facing toward the school and Bakery Square. The lock is between the metal bollard and that little brick building to the left. I'd post a fancy google map with arrow, but I lack the interweb skillz.
I'll be going through there again tonight around 5:45 if you want me to move it somewhere more conspicuous.

I think that description should be fine to locate it, and hopefully I'll be there shortly after you pass through. I went right by there twice, but I guess I was looking in the road rather than the side of the road.
