Warning: Red Toyota Takoma Extended Cab with Marine sticker
Riders in the East End this evening should be aware of a red toyota takoma extended cab, very clean, recent model, with marine sticker and carrying what appears to be 4 young men with short haircuts and a lot free time.
These guys buzzed me and yelled while I was on the 31st Bridge veering over the white line to me. I trailed them for a while as they headed east on Penn. I then watched them go into reverse in an attempt to scare or hit another cyclist while waiting at a stoplight.
I am guessing they are in the East End/Bloomfield/Lawrenceville area now.
Apologies for not remembering the plate.
p.s. the only true buzzing incidents I've had in years of city biking are from pick-up trucks. These have been usually recent models, and oddly clean. The two truly intentional buzzes were by bright red mid-size pick ups. Hopefully that'll help you plan your avoidance strategies.

If they are vets, there isn't much you can do. If they are active-duty, they could get in a shit-ton of trouble if we figured out where they are stationed and reported the incident. One positive thing I'll say about the military, they don't put up with bs like this.
