What a nice day for a ride!

Took a little ride around the city today and ended up riding for over 4 hours!

I too took advantage of the weather and went for a nice impromptu ride myself for a couple hours... thru HP, Lawrenceville, the Strip, Polish Hill, N. Oakland, Shadyside, East Liberty. About 15 miles all told.

Nice pix Sail2948. My daughter joined me for a ride today and we looked at and talked about the same view of the Smithfield St bridge that your first image depicts. I love modern architecture, but that image shows a style of construction that is unique and thoughtful. And the vines that grow - what do they live on up there? It's cool.

Agreed. I had an awesome day starting out east on Freeport with @ flyS564 in the fog, then headed into Butler Co. over to Mars on some picturesque one lane rollers, with almost every oncoming car & folks working in the yard throwing a wave & a smile. Shockingly pleasant compared to the city. Need to start packing sunscreen in the saddle bag tho.

yeah, what a brilliant day. i took my special lady friend (SLF) on a ride. i stretched the ride a bit beyond her level of comfort, but we had a nice picnic and got to the library before they closed. it turned out to be about the best sunday of the year so far.
