Approximately a year ago, you responded to the Women Cycling survey and left your email address for us to contact you with additional information. Thank you. We are pleased to share the results with you here:

Your response was one of 13,000 responses that were analyzed by a masters student in public health at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro. Anna Sibley will present her findings live during a free webinar on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 (see below). APBP hired a student intern to digest three of the open-ended questions. Andrea Garland will share what she discovered; her reports will be posted on the website after the webinar. Several other women will highlight what’s happening in the world of cycle chic.

In 2010, the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) hosted a free webinar which explored the history and trends of women cycling. View it free here:

APBP invites you to attend this year’s free webinar to learn and to share information about women cycling. The 2011 webinar will also be recorded; after the webinar, we’ll post the link here (http://www.womencyclingproject.org/) so that you can view it at your leisure.

APBP offers the WomenCyclingProject.info website as a future platform for collaboration. Look for a future invitation for you to post your ideas, share your work, ask questions, and seek answers.

Attend this free webinar if you want to learn how to increase the number of women cycling for transportation in your community. Five speakers offer compelling insights about cycling projects run by inspiring women, illuminate what 13,000 women told APBP they want in a cycling environment, and suggest best practices to help you make a difference in your community. Don't miss the stories of some of the wonderful women leading the cycling movement, and results of APBP's 2010 survey on Women Cycling. APBP encourages individuals to gather colleagues and friends together to watch the webinar and discuss and plan afterwards. Build your team.
