Women's bike skills clinics at The Wheel Mill - Wednesdays at 7:30pm

Are you a female who wants to learn to ride a bike better, for mountain biking or just for getting around town? This is for you! I'm teaching skills clinics for women at The Wheel Mill, every Wednesday evening at 7:30. Women get $6 off admission on Wednesdays (so it would be $14), and the clinic is free. (Admission is good from 2-10pm.) The clinics are beginner to intermediate level (depending on who shows up and what you want to learn). Likely things we'll work on: - the "attack" stance or "ready position" and bike/body separation - looking ahead - rolling off drops, then manualing - going over small obstacles - cornering - the pump track The clinics will last approximately 50 minutes. Hang out after class and use your new skills to shred the park!

Happening tonight! Trails are not going to be rideable for a while... come indoors and have some fun. By the way, this is NOT just for mountain bikers -- I can show you some street skills, as well.

I highly recommend this. Karen is a great teacher. I learned a lot this past week. I am going to try to make it as my work schedule allows.

Shut, if Stefb learned a lot then I need to participate. The only problem is that I am not a woman...

Hey thanks for the rec, Stef! Mikhail, we may soon be expanding the offerings to riders of both genders... stay tuned. But in the meantime, here's a reminder. Clinic tomorrow, 7:30! It's gonna rain, come on indoors and learn some stuff. (Though it does not matter if it rains or not!)

Hey yinz! Just a reminder, this is still happening, every Wednesday evening at 7:30. Bonus -- now I'm actually IMBA certified! Learned a lot of good stuff to teach at the certification class at Snowshoe, taught by none other than the legend, Shaums March. (Any of you remember when Shaums hucked over that corner jump after the dual slalom race at the Seven Springs NORBA Nationals oh so long ago? He said everyone still mentions that, after I did. Heh.)
