WTB: Bike Rack Hitch

I took the kids to the Butler-Freeport Trail over the weekend to ride our bikes. My kids really enjoyed themselves and can’t wait to go back. Transporting the bikes was a bit of a pain, so I would like to purchase a trailer hitch mounted bike rack that can hold 4 or possibly 5 bikes (my truck already has the trailer hitch). The rack needs to be able to hold adult and kids bikes.

Does anyone on the board have any good feedback on brands, types, places/sites to buy one?

Sorry - Didn't see that you already had the hitch.

i think he already has a hitch... i've only had experience with one hitch rack and i didn't like it, only because it had removable parts which were easily lost, so beware of that...

i know some folks that have this rack and really like it: http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/orsracksdirect_2108_9847063

its a bit more expensive though

I have an "Alan" 4 bike that works well, the arms fold down so they don't get tweeked when not in use. Since the arms go through the frame, oddly shaped frames require some creativity, and really tiny kids bikes I just throw in the car.

The ones with the trays to hold the wheels seem nice, but I don't know if they would hold kid's.

If my son keeps getting friends into mtn biking, my next step will be to get a small used trailer and rig up something pro.

I've purchaed two different racks from orsracksdirect, so I can recommend them. I'd also recommend getting the "swing away" if you need to access your tailgate. It'd be a huge pain to have all of the bikes on there and then realize you need to take them all off to open the gate.
