There are lots of double child trailers on Craigslist, but no singles. Does anybody have one that they no longer use and would like to sell? How about a helmet for a small child (1 year old) that your little one has outgrown? Thanks in advance.

Typically doubles have harness points that can accommodate 1 or 2 kids. You simply remove the two outside shoulder straps and clip the inside straps to the otherwise unused clip in the middle of the seat. I had two different double trailers from different vendors and they both worked that way. I wouldn't rule out double trailers for a single child.

I'm actually looking specifically for a single child trailer. I don't have a garage, so a smaller, lighter trailer will be easier for me to haul up and down the basement stairs (and fit in the car).
