Check out freeride. I think most of their bikes run 80-120 bucks if you pay cash and you can fix it up there and everything.

WTB: Touring Bike & MTB
- No "women's" bikes
- I'm 5'6
- <$300 each
WTB: Touring bike, seat tube size 51 cm/20 inches or so. Would prefer a frame that can accommodate trail tires. Nothing fancy -- this will be my first touring bike.
WTB: Hardtail mountain bike, 17"/M. Will only be used for occasionally riding trails.
Would consider a partially built bike in both instances.
